Mother's Day, Spring, and All The Fun Things

Mother's Day, Spring, and All The Fun Things

I thought I'd create a blog to talk about what I have to offer for your Mother's Day gifts (it'll be here before you know it!) and also to help you along with your Spring crafting projects.

Gifts Collection

In my Gifts Collection here on my website, I have a wide variety of one-of-a-kind items that would be perfect for any special person in your life. I'm sure Mom would love to receive a trinket box made from 100% recycled magazine pages. They are built to last quite a while and are the perfect conversation piece.

Visit the collection at the link above to see the color options you have to make it a perfect gift for Mom!

Before you say No to the Yard Sale Collection....

I recently created a collection for Yard Sale/Clearance, however, there are a lot of unique, brand new items in that collection. It's basically a place where I put things that aren't necessarily craft-related. There are new purses, collectibles, special books, etc.

Books, Books Books!

There is something very personal about giving someone a book as a gift. A book says, "I know what you like and this made me think of you."

I have religious books for the Christian mother who enjoys worship. Whether it is Bible journaling, old hymns from church as a child, or poetry and prose to bring her closer to God, this collection has some beautiful vintage religious books that are sure to leave an impression.

I have a HUGE variety of Vintage & Antique Books. There is something for everyone in this collection.

Textbooks always hit a soft spot for the nostalgic. School days bring back a sense of innocence and joy. They are always fun to go through as an adult and remember the stories, assignments, and lessons learned.

Vintage Magazines are another fun way to remember the past and find things that are no longer around. Between the ads, stories, and happenstance of eras gone by, they are sure to spark old memories and create smiles and new memories flipping through the pages.

The Crafty Mom

If your mother is on the Crafty side (and maybe a little thrifty/repurposey), I have collections of collage kits, tools & supplies, and some linen, fabrics, and fibers to help Mom along with any project she has going on.

So, before you go to the big box store and get a generic card and flowers, think of the gift that will last. Think of the gift that shows just how much you thought of her and how much she means.

And it always helps to support a mom and small business owner like myself! Shop small, shop secondhand.
