This cookbook is in great shape for its age. Its the 2005 reprint of this cookbook.
The pages and illustrations in it are exactly as they were in 1955. The paper even feels like the 1950s cookbook paper. All of the pages are there. All of the pages are in good shape. The binder itself is in good shape, including the spine. There is an inscription inside the front cover, however this would still make a great gift!
It would also make a great junk journal or art journal. The cover is very sturdy and the pages would make great recipe book ephemera...especially since the recipes are simple and universal - things made in every American home!
