This set of books is in really good shape for being 106 years old. The spines are still very tight. It would appear as if some of them have never been opened or read at all.
You can see the imperfections in the photos. The sixth reader has white paint on the bottom of the spine and the box shows a little bit of wear on the edges and corners, but this set is in pretty good shape for its age!
At first I thought these were a new reproduction of the books. That is how clean the pages are and how nice the binding has held up all these years!
There are seven books in this set. There is a primer to 6th reader and they have varying page numbers.
These would make amazing shelf decor. The box alone is a work of art. Anybody who owns these will have a true American historical treasure!
