Understanding the universe. Franklin b. Carroll 1952 vintage science textbook

This book is really neat and it has a lot interesting information. It covers a wide variety of things, air water matter, energy, heat energy, sound, light, electricity and magnetism living things, field and Forest keeping fit, Microscopic world, balance of nature, Earth science, weather, and sky. It really does explain the universe! 

This book would be great for a junk journaler or a paper crafter because it is full of great colored and black and white illustrations. There are some pencil marks and I included a picture where there appears to be a burn mark, but other than that the book is fine and the burn Mark doesn't really affect a whole lot except for one spot on two pages. There's some staining and discoloration common with the age, but the structure of the book is still really good. It would make a great altered book because it is bound so well.
