Young Benjamin Franklin or the right road through life by Henry Mayhew 1862 Harper and brothers publishers antique book

This book is in good shape for 1862. There are a few black and white illustrations and there's a little bit of staining and discoloration due to the age. 

They're 561 pages in this book and it measures approximately 7 x4 and 1/2 with a 1 1/2-in spine.

This is a first edition of this book. I have not seen it with the green cover. I have only seen the red cover. There are a few creases on some pages and creases in the fold of the signatures, but it doesn't affect the structure or readability of the book all. The bottom of the spine and cover does have a little bit of wear from being shelved and they are visible rub marks along the covers and spine from storage and usage over the years.

The only writing is an inscription inside the front cover from June 1870. Other than that, the book is just a gorgeous piece of History waiting to be loved by someone new.
